I just can't win with package delivery companies.
FedMess lies. A lot.
The big-guy expects that I had a handle on everything a month into working, while moving.
I did what I could.
Sorry that I didn't draw the line and walk it for you.

A few weeks ago, having order a rather large box of stuff:
Me: My package has been out for delivery every day since Wednesday.
FedEx: Well, they will try to deliver it three times before you have to pick it up.
Me: No, see nobody ever tried to deliver it. I've been here all day, every day. There were no delivery attempts and no notices left. The FedEx guy just came and went for today, and said he had no idea what I was talking about when I asked him about this package. Also, see how the website doesn't say "notice left" or "deliver attempt failed"?
FedEx: I'm an idiot and I can only read what my computer screen says. You should just hang up on me and pray you don't get someone even dumber when you call back.
